Dr. Kern Prinzess Vario-Filter, type K85, a mercury vapour arc discharge sunlamp,
combined with four quartz-tube elements. The amount of UV-B could be regulated with
the slider below the lamp, controlling the gap between the upper- and lower filter
segments.
